Does extract keep the original page numbers?

The new file starts at page 1. Printed numbers inside the page image stay as they were. Use Page Numbers if you want a fresh footer.

Can I extract pages out of order?

List them in the order you want. For a full reorder of a kept document, Rearrange is clearer.

Extract returns one PDF. Split returns many.
